FW 8.6 THE END! General Conclusions of the last pamphlet of the original 1922 Fascinating Womanhood pamphlets

Hello, Beautiful Homemakers!

Can you believe that after a good two years we have finally reached the end of the original 1922 Fascinating Womanhood pamphlets?

The video will do a little recapping of some information in this last chapter called General Conclusions, and then I will go over some of the things men say they don't like in women, and what they DO like.

I talk a little about upgrading your wardrobe by getting rid of your old, ratty, too-tight, too low cut, stained, faded, sagging at the knees, or stretched out clothes and making room for new, feminine clothing.  Remember that business suits are masculine. Only wear clothes that you feel adorable in!

It's time to do a closet purge.  Remember to turn your hangers around so that at the end of the year you know which clothes you never wore.  OR, better yet, remove clothes that don't fit that you want to keep to a suitcase. Simplify your closet.

While visual impact comes first for men, they say a relationship won't last without that emotional connection.  Smiling and laughing is very important to them.  You don't need to botox - men want laugh lines!

A woman worthy of being WON and A woman worthy of being ONE were quickly mentioned.

It's definitely okay to approach men first these days (but don't chase!).

Do a spiritual inventory:

Are you practicing certain sins and just blowing it off by saying "That's just the way I am"?

  • Are you stubborn?
  • A glutton?
  • Cursing?
  • Eating fake food?
  • Doing yoga?
  • Are you dishonoring God?
  • Do you have hidden sinful habits?
  • Do you have a bad attitude?
  • Do you lie?
  • Are you lazy?
  • Critical?
  • Have a bad temper?
  • Complain a lot?
  • Is there something in your life that proves you have left Jesus?

Sin is serious and we can't continually "practice" it - we can't persist in it.  The Bible tells us that people who practice sinning are children of Satan, and that people who practice righteousness are children of God.  Our fruit shows who lives inside of us.  (1 John 3)

God is faithful to forgive Christians who repent, and ask for His help (1 John 1)  Tell God your problems and struggles.  He already knows and wants you to ask for help and His strength!

Scriptures read were 1 John 3:4-10, 1 John 1:5-9, and James 2:17-24.

If we love Jesus we will obey His commands.  We will abide with Him.  It has to be real.  We have to walk our talk; that's integrity.  Be a living and holy sacrifice - that is our worship!  Our very life is worship! Our life should show that Jesus has Lordship over it.

Don't be complacent and think that just believing in Jesus is enough.  It isn't.  Throughout the entire Bible it is shown that we must have Faith and OBEDIENCE. Obedience requires Action.  DOING.

Everyday I meet people who believe in God, who even believe that Jesus is the Son of God, but who refuse to OBEY God.  They want to keep practicing their sins.  They don't want to repent and make Jesus Lord of their life.

Some may think this is a heavy ending, but changing the superficial things about us is pretty easy, and there is lots of help to be had.  But for real change you need Jesus Christ to guide you. You need to make Him Lord and Savior and follow Him.  Do what HE says to do.

I hope you all have a wonderful CHRISTmas!

Let the love of Christ control you,

Janine
